"I regularly give 401(k) presentations that last for an hour and
require that I review 55 slides of information, many of which I omit primarily
because of the bore factor, but also due to time constraints. By attending
your workshop, I learned how to add humor and other techniques to spice
up my presentations. Doing so has increased the interactivity and attention
level of my audiences tremendously and even though I have the same number
of slides to present, the time seems to go by much faster since I've implemented
what I learned at your workshop."

Laughter brings everyone together."… "Interact with your audience."… "There are different kinds of humor. Know which ones are appropriate."
"I found the two-part workshops engaging and informative. They were definitely worthwhile. I share many of the ideas and some of the handouts from
them with those who are open to seeing our society in new and diverse ways."

"I am a sixty-five year old white male born in the U.S. I have always acted on my liberal views about race, including several multi-year projects designed to reduce race related injustice.
Despite my efforts, I have close African-American friends who accuse me of being a racist. Given that they know of my beliefs and activities, I have always taken these accusations with a grain of salt. How could I be racist?
Veronica Adams' workshop got my attention and convinced me on a highly emotional level that to be a white American is to be a racist. And, Veronica gave me valuable ideas and approaches as to what I can do to redress some of my conditioning and be a better ally to and learn more from my friends of color.
I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who understands the importance of healthy race relations in our world and wishes to work for change."

"Veronica's recent presentation and talk-back session at our UU congregation was very well received. It was clear to me that the members of our fellowship were enthusiastically engaged by her talk and that some felt inspired to begin the racial justice efforts that she suggested. I, for one, felt that her insights were keen and that her suggestions were refreshing and meaningful. She is very comfortable speaking before a good-sized group; she is lively and spirited. I found her to be a very capable spokesperson about a topic that is extremely important and woefully neglected by Caucasian audiences."
Ann Davidoff, Ph.D "Thank you so much for your presentation. It was very good—not only thought provoking, but discussion engaging as well. As a Black woman I find it encouraging that there are white people who recognize the systemic racism that exists in our society today. The only way we will ever to be able to overcome it is by partnering with "allies" such as yourself."
